Update: Here is my final version of this entry. I've tried my best to refine the minor details of this image and I feel like I'm satisfied with it; good enough for me to move onto new projects.
My vision of a post apocalyptic event of the house. It took a long process to get this finished before the deadline heh.
This was mostly done through painting with custom brushes (with my trusty mouse and Wacom Tablet) as well as utilizing many textures from stockproject gallery. My thought process on this was that I wanted to make the scene look more desolate and abandoned but at the same time a place of salvage. From there, I incorporated a theme of vegetation surrounded by debris with several messages related to a post-apocalypse. I continued by adding a character and several objects to make it seem as if there were a storyline behind it and so then I came up with one during this phase.
A young fisherman had woken up on a coastal shore. As the fisherman was walking 10 miles away from the shore, he discovered an abandoned house covered in vegetation and debris. The fisherman searches the area for survivors but it was empty. He sees the ladder and climbs up to roof hatch and sat beside the chimney only to see what was left in this world. Drifted away from his homeland, this house is the only hope to survive.

Edit: A few changes are needed to be made. Currently work in progress at the moment. I will submit the refined version sometime later this week (hopefully before the deadline).
